These guilds play a vital role in strengthening the spiritual life of the Church, promoting Christian fellowship, and advancing community development through faith-driven service. The following guilds are operational in the Anglican Church; Mothers’ Union, Fathers’ Union, Youth , Daughters of the King and St Veronica

Mothers Union

Rooted in prayer, fellowship, and service, the MU is a driving force behind Christian family life and spiritual formation within the Church. Members are committed to strengthening Christian values in homes and communities, promoting women’s leadership, and supporting vulnerable families through various outreach programs. The MU also plays a vital role in advancing social and spiritual development through faith-based advocacy, mentorship, and empowerment initiatives targeting women across all dioceses.

The guild nurtures spiritual growth, self-discipline, and strong Christian identity among its members. It provides a supportive environment for young women to grow in faith, character, and service, while addressing key challenges facing young women today—including peer pressure, gender inequality, and lack of access to education and life skills. Through prayer, fellowship, and capacity-building, the Daughters of the King continues to inspire a generation of purposeful, God-fearing women

St. Veronica Guild

The St. Veronica Guild, with 2,572 members, is a ministry of compassion modeled after the biblical figure who offered comfort to Jesus on His way to Calvary. Members are dedicated to acts of mercy, especially caring for the sick, the grieving, and the elderly. The guild is involved in hospital visits, home-based care, prayer support, and providing comfort during funerals and crises. Through their quiet but powerful ministry, members of the St. Veronica Guild bring hope, healing, and spiritual encouragement to those in need, reflecting Christ’s love in practical and compassionate ways.

Youth Ministry

The ACM Youth Ministry has an active and growing membership of 40,800 young people who are passionate about serving God and transforming their communities. The ministry empowers youth through discipleship, leadership training, and engagement in church-based and community development programs. It offers young people opportunities to deepen their faith, express their talents, and lead in mission work and social advocacy. The Youth Ministry also addresses issues relevant to today’s youth, including education, employment, mental health, and civic engagement, equipping them to be responsible, Christ-centered citizens and future leaders of the Church.

Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry reaches an impressive 35,500 children across Malawi and plays a foundational role in nurturing young hearts and minds in the Christian faith. The ministry creates safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces for children to learn biblical teachings, participate in worship, and grow spiritually. It also promotes child protection, early childhood development, and the rights and well-being of children in both church and community settings. Through Sunday school programs, storytelling, drama, music, and play, the Children’s Ministry helps lay the groundwork for a lifelong relationship with God and meaningful participation in the life of the Church.
